I remember the blue line boards, press down letters and border tape. I remember the burnish tool in one hand and the X-acto knife in my other. While those tools have been replaced with the stylus and the pixel, the needs remain the same: deliver a message that reaches the viewer through their senses and touches their understanding or piques the curious. A union of symbol and subject that is prepared for the varied visual portals of today: print, signage, advertising, the world wide web and web 2.0.

Today I still use my pencil. Then I use Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and Acrobat; I use HTML and CSS, Pantone and color common sense. I enjoy the opportunity to create for a client the arch of their visual needs, from logo to website.

“Ah, I see what you mean.”

Frequently overheard phrase during meetings with my clients.

Whether your seed project has ambition to bloom on a global scale or your current project is in need of a little type, teeth, grace, or gossip, I would be honored to

help it grow.
